Delegation of Islamic Emirate Local Officials Travels to Bamyan's Panjab District to Resolve Dispute
A delegation of local officials from the Islamic Emirate, including Qari Gul Haidar Shafaq, Governor of Bamyan Province; Mawlawi Habibullah Shakir, Provincial Police Chief; Mawlawi Khalil-ur-Rahman Huzayfah, Director of Intelligence; and Qari Mohibullah Sajjad, Director of Borders and Tribal Affairs, traveled to Panjab District to help resolve ongoing disputes between Kochi nomads and local residents.
During a joint meeting with both parties, the delegation emphasized that the disputed areas would be thoroughly investigated and that a final decision would be made in accordance with Islamic Sharia and on the basis of credible evidence and documentation. They also stressed that no one is permitted to graze or move their livestock into the disputed areas until a final ruling is issued.
At the conclusion of the meeting, local residents, religious scholars, community elders, influential figures, and representatives of the Kochi community expressed their appreciation for the Islamic Emirate officials' efforts to resolve the dispute peacefully and amicably.
