MoI Medical Team Deployed to Address Urgent Needs in Kunar Province

A medical team dispatched by the General Directorate of Health Affairs of the Ministry of Interior has arrived in the earthquake-affected areas of Kunar Province. The team is providing emergency health services to families impacted by the disaster.

The team includes specialists in surgery, internal medicine, pediatrics, infectious diseases, and other fields, as well as nurses and equipped ambulances. In addition to treatment, they are conducting preventive activities, providing consultations, and distributing essential medicines.

Officials from the General Directorate of Health Affairs stated that, alongside treating the earthquake victims, monitoring and follow-up of patients through local health centers will continue to ensure the provision of health services to the population.
