15 People Arrested in Connection with Criminal Offenses in Five Provinces

Criminal Investigation Police of the Ministry of Interior arrested 15 people in several separate operations in connection with theft, murder, and timber smuggling in five provinces.

Of those arrested, six were detained in connection with theft and the murder of one person in Guzara District of Herat Province; four were arrested in connection with theft in Qaisar and Chehlgazi districts of Faryab Province; three were detained in connection with timber smuggling in Narang District of Kunar Province; one person was arrested in connection with the theft of 11 smartphones and  mobile phones in the provincial capital of Paktika; and another person was arrested in connection with the theft of one head of livestock in Jawzjan Province.
