44 Individuals Arrested for Drug Trafficking and Distribution in Several Provinces

Counter-Narcotics Police officers have arrested 44 individuals during separate operations in connection with drug trafficking and distribution in the provinces of Farah, Parwan, Nimroz, Helmand, Jawzjan, Paktia, Balkh, Ghazni, Laghman, Kunduz, Kapisa, and Khost.
During the operations, authorities also seized 16 kilograms of opium, six kilograms of hashish, more than nine kilograms of methamphetamine (crystal meth), 2,171 intoxicating tablets, and other related items from the suspects.
