General Command of Police Special Units Discovered Ammunition in Logar and Herat Provinces

General Command of Police Special Units (GCPSU) carried out a security operation in the Sheikhak and Surkh Aab villages, Mohammad Agha district, Logar province.

As a result, GCPSU discovered one suicide vest, 27 mortar rounds, one BM-12 round and one roadside mine.

In a separate report, General Command of Police Special Units carried out a clearing operation on an illegal Taliban prison in the Wardaka village, Zenda Jan district, western Herat province in which two civilian prisoners were freed and a terrorist was arrested.

Some amount of ammunition and IEDs seized as well.
