Firefighters Prevent the Spread of a Fire at a Fuel Station in Nangarhar Province

A fire broke out at a fuel station located in the Ring Road area of the Seventh Police District in Jalalabad City, Nangarhar Province, as a result of negligence during welding operations.

Upon receiving the report, firefighters from the Fire Department of the Nangarhar Provincial Police Command promptly responded to the scene with fully equipped fire engines. They successfully brought the fire under control and prevented it from spreading further.

Fortunately, no casualties were reported. However, the incident resulted in approximately AFN 25,000 in financial losses, while property valued at nearly AFN 15 million was successfully saved from the fire.
