Abdul Nafe Takor Appointed as Head of Community Police and 119 and Officially Assumes Office
Abdul Nafe Takor was appointed l to the employees of the Community Police and 119 Department of the General Directorate of Public Relations of the Ministry of Interior and officially began his duties as the head of the department.
The ceremony was held at the Community Police Department office and was attended by Mawlavi Abdul Hakim Hemat Akhundzada, Director General of Public Relations; Mawlavi Sultan Mohammad Mufakkir, Director General of Internal Security; Mawlavi Rahmatullah Kakazada, Policy Adviser to the Ministry of Interior; and a number of directors of the ministry.
Speaking at the ceremony, Mawlavi Rahmatullah Kakazada discussed the importance of the rule of the Islamic system, stating that, thankfully, the Islamic system is established throughout the country and that scholars and sheikhs are leading it.
Mawlavi Sultan Mohammad Mufakkir then described changes and transfers within government departments as an administrative principle and stressed the importance of vigilance and a sense of responsibility among officials. He said that the proper and responsible performance of duties by officials can help create peace and stability for the people. He also emphasized accountability and improving the quality of work.
Subsequently, Mawlavi Abdul Hakim Hemat Akhundzada spoke about the importance and continued functioning of the Community Police and 119 Department, stating that the Community Police serves as a bridge between the people and the Ministry of Interior.
He also described the 119 hotline as vital for receiving reports of criminal activities, detecting crimes, and combating various forms of crime across the country. He added that the establishment of councils in provinces and districts by the Community Police could play an effective role in ensuring security, strengthening cooperation between the people and the police, and preventing crime.
At the end of the ceremony, emphasis was placed on improving work processes, strengthening communication with the public, and providing better and timely services to citizens.
