68 Individuals Arrested in 12 Provinces for Drug Sale, Use, and Trafficking

Personnel of the Deputy Ministry for Counter Narcotics of the Ministry of Interior Affairs have arrested 68 individuals over the past few days in connection with the sale, use, and trafficking of narcotics in the provinces of Nangarhar, Jawzjan, Kandahar, Bamyan, Kunduz, Ghazni, Parwan, Laghman, Kunar, Farah, Nimroz, and Khost.From the arrested individuals, security forces recovered more than 10 kilograms of hashish, over 4 liters of alcoholic beverages, 800 grams of methamphetamine (crystal meth), more than 1 kilogram of opium, and 1,950 narcotic tablets.The suspects have been taken into custody, and the relevant legal procedures are being carried out in accordance with the law.
