55-Year Family Feud in Khost Ends in Peaceful Reconciliation

As part of ongoing efforts by the authorities of Khost province, and with the mediation of tribal elders and religious scholars, a 55-year-old dispute between two families in the Kandiyo area of the provincial center was peacefully settled. During the course of this conflict, two people had also been killed.
At a ceremony held on this occasion, Mawlawi Mia Mohammad Wali Siddiqi, Head of Border, Tribal and Tribal Affairs of Khost province, stated that this peace agreement is the 109th successful case in Khost, achieved through the efforts of the provincial administration and cooperation of tribal elders.
Tribal elders and religious scholars also emphasized the continuation of such efforts, stating that resolving disputes is of vital importance for the stability, security, and progress of society.
At the end, both families expressed their happiness over the reconciliation, embraced each other, and pledged to live forever in an atmosphere of peace, forgiveness, and brotherly coexistence.
