Coordination Meeting of Five Northern Provinces Held in Faryab

The meeting was attended by the governors, police chiefs and intelligence officials of Balkh, Faryab, Jawzjan, Sar-e Pol and Samangan provinces, the deputy commander of the 209th Al-Fath Corps, and representatives of the Northern Zone Military Courts.

Participants discussed the security situation, criminal incidents, strengthening coordination among border districts, reforming government departments, public awareness programmes and providing job opportunities for people.

It was also decided to hold one-day reform seminars for government officials in each province, organize consultative meetings with 200 religious scholars, and standardize security checkpoints on highways and in cities according to the required standards.

At the end of the meeting, Al-Haj Mullah Mohammad Yousuf Wafa, Governor of Balkh Province, emphasized strengthening coordination among government departments, ensuring security, addressing people's problems and exchanging information among officials.
