Six Armed Taliban Killed in Helmand Province

Yesterday, three armed Taliban were killed following a clearance security operation.

The operation was carried out by Afghan National Police in Zarghon village, Nad Ali district of southern Helmand province.

One machine gun, two motorcycles, 27 different types of IEDs, two suicide vests and some amount of ammunition were also destroyed.

In the meantime, yesterday, in the latest air strike against armed Taliban, the Afghan Air Forces’ warplane targeted a Taliban hideout in Gorzan village, Washir district of Helmand province, killing three armed Taliban.

Two motorcycles and some amount of light and heavy rounds of ammunition were also destroyed during the air raid.
